Details About Our Services

IMG_0155.JPG Willow Creek Baptist Church always strives to have something for everyone! Our Sunday School program starts at 9:15 am, but you’ll want to come a few minutes early and enjoy a donut and a cup of coffee or juice in our Activity Center. Children & teens will experience age-appropriate teaching and activities that are Bible-based, child-centered, and lots of fun. Adult Bible Fellowships (ABF) are available for all ages and stages in life. Our friendly greeters or a member of the staff will help you find the Sunday School Class or ABF that best fits your age or stage in life!

Our Sunday morning worship service starts at 10:30 am and ends around 11:45 am. At Willow Creek, we believe that worship is vital to the life and work of God’s people. We start off with vibrant music that is straight worship to God! When we worship, we’re not just singing, we’re coming together to boast on God. After the music, the children are dismissed to Children’s Choir or Children’s Church. Then we experience a powerful message from God’s Word that is totally relevant and applicable to our lives TODAY! At Willow Creek, we know that God’s Word changes lives!

On Sunday evenings at 6:00 pm, we come back together as a church family and have a more informal service that often includes singing, testimonies, Bible studies, or community building activities! Once a month, we also have a special time of getting to know each other better through activities such as Nacho Night, Soup & Service, Finger food Fellowships…The name might change, but the food and friends are always fun!

Wednesday evenings are a time for the whole family to come out and enjoy being challenged from God’s Word through various Bible studies and children’s programs. Practical and relevant, Bible studies are offered for men, women, or couples.

What’s available for my children?

Children We want our children to learn about God and how much He loves them! We understand that much of our children’s value system is determined during their younger years; that’s why we treat our children’s programs as a ministry, not a babysitting service. We teach the Bible in a fun and exciting way that encourages our children to live for God. We aim at having a program that makes our children WANT to come to church every week.

For children birth through 2 years old, you’ll find caring volunteers in our nursery. In addition to our Sunday School program, children from 2 years old through 5th grade will experience a fun, energetic environment in our Children’s Church and our Children’s Choir where they will sing, play and learn about our great God during the worship service. If you need any assistance finding where your child should go, just ask one of our friendly greeters or ushers. We’ll be glad to help!

During the school year, children 3 years old through 5th grade are involved in our AWANA and KYB (Know Your Bible) programs. These popular ministries combine Scripture memorization and Biblical principles made personal with cool activities and tons of fun! Our summer children’s programs continue the fun by teaching about God and how much He loves us!

What’s available for the teens?

Teens Our student ministry is an energizing, powerful experience bringing real hope to our students. The music and messages are all relevant to their age! You’ll see teens everywhere–playing instruments, leading worship, and volunteering in other ways. It’s a secure place to unwind, be authentic and enjoy great friends. Students will be engaged in various trips, conferences, local missions, and community service projects so that they build meaningful relationships. The teens meet on Wednesday nights at 6:45 pm for youth group and Sunday nights at 6:15 pm for prayer time.
